Here are some of my checklist for my wedding preparations:

1. Date : Checked
2. Register date of solemnization: Pending
3. Nikah, Reception 1 & 2 attire: Pending, *somewhere in early May to do the fitting
4. Caterer: Checked
5. Canopy: Checked
6. Doorgift for reception: Checked
7. Doorgift for solemnization: Checked * i will baking my own cuppies
8. Dias for solemnization and reception: Checked * somewhere in April to discuss
9. Hantaran: Pending * still not complete
10. Cakes for hantaran: not yet! Still on searching mood
11. Cakes for solemnization cutting cake: not yet! Still on searching mood
12. Pulut kuning for reception: Checked (ya, pulut kuning simply because im on traditional theme)
13. Wedding card: Checked (to be collect on 5th April)
14. Guest list and address: On going process and keep updating
15. Wedding Ring: Checked
16. Make up: Checked
17. Photographer: Checked
18. Candy buffet for Solemnization: Pending
19. Bridesmaid attire: Checked
20. Hantaran decoration: Checked ( I love my Mak, she made both for my fiance and I)
21.Flower girl/boy: Pending (still thinking wether should have one or not)


Thats all I guess. As what I remember right now. Should be more I think. Hehe.

Getting Married

2 months and 3 days left before the big day come. Ya, big day, my wedding day. Never thought in my mind that within 2 months im getting married. How time flies. Did I put any target on what age I would like to settle down? Yes, I do. By 27 years old, I should be married to someone.

It just took less than one year for me to make the decision; get married. I met my fiance (read: yes my fiance) in February, engaged in November and soon the big day in May inshaAllah. I met/know/being introduced to my fiance by my cousin Taty Salina and her husband.

After being together for almost one year++, here we are, preparing ourselves for our wedding ceremony. Bridezilla mood is definitely turn on. Hehehe.

Rainbow Cake

Ok. Ini bukanlah kali pertama I made rainbow cake. Few months back I did it for the first time but it did not turn out well, no balance in terms of the coloured layers, taste was ok, and FAILED on the creeeaaam.. Haha.. It takes more than a week for the cake untuk lenyap dalam fridge. Hahahhaa.. But i really love the rainbow colours, it turn out very nice. Here, some of the pictures for the first rainbow cake.

See, the coloured turn out very nice kan??? Geram tgk colour2 tu. But, comot gila with the cream. I thought of making meringue butter cream, tapi tak jadi, hahaha. Failed on the meringue process I guess.

 Bentuk die pun tak cantik kan? Portion untuk setiap color tak balance. Yelah, I pun silap sebab bake dalam loyang besar, tu yang layer tu jadi nipis nak mampus. Huhu

Kek ni kena letak dalam fridge sentiasa sebab cream die cairkan.. Haishhh.. But wait, kalau dah first tak jadi, mestilah ada yang second kan. Phewwww.. Berpeluh mak nak siapkan untuk second time ni. ( eh, takde la berpeluh sangat since malam tu hujan, so sejuk je la.. hahaha)

So, this time i purposely made this cake for my BFF' s bithday celebration, Yan and Hunny. So, sort of give all of my heart and passion and love to this cake. Tu sebab jadi kot. Agaknye la kan. Hahahha.

Well, the story of second attempt of baking rainbow cake. I started bake the cake at 9pm since I had to face heavy traffic from office way back to home. This time I change my mind and thinking of  steam the cake instead of bake it in the oven. 

Done mixing all the ingredients, it turn to be like below pictures where I divided it into six color.

I used american color. I love all the color and they come in lots of different color. You can just drop by at bakery shop and have some for your collection.

I used a small baking tray , 7 inch diameter if im not mistaken. Since I only bought one and dont have enough money to buy 6 of them and dont have intention to buy it so many, I baked all the cake in that one tray. Kira gilir2 la..so kira tu yang makan masa sikit buat cake ni since I kena ulang enam kali. Kalau lah ade oven besar boleh masuk 6 sekali mesti best kan? Hehehe

So, ini lah rupa adunan cake tu after I put alll the rainbow color. Nice kan?

Then, I kukus all the 6 layers in my mum punya tempat kukus.

Let all the 6 layers cold and then baru tepek dengan cream cheese. Oh, cream cheese sgt menjadi kali ini..Very well behave!!!! startruck dengan ini cream cheese!! Hahaha

Tara .. Ready untuk ditempek dengan balance cream cheese. Agak serabut kek itu sebab den lapik adunan kek tu dengan kertas minyak so that tray yg kukus kek tu x melekat and senang for me to replace with other color after that.

Disebabkan jam dah pukul 1 pagi plus cream tinggal nyawa-nyawa ikan and I malas nak whisk cream lagi, dengan gigihnya I make sure that the whole cake is covered with the cream.

 Atas tu pun konon-konon nak decorate la dengan nozel bagai tapi sebab dah mengantuk gila-gila, so konon nak buat berseni sikit la, tu la yang jadi macam ombak gitu. Hahahaha

Then, tabur la coloring rice ( eh bukan rice, coloring small ball, hahaha) atas tu. Then the hardest part, siap ber 'whatsapp' lagi dengan party planner lagi sorang nak ke tak nak bubuh dekat tepi. Die kata, letak la,,hoiiii!!! I said, susah la,berat nak mampus nak sengetkan kek tu untuk bubuh coloring ball tu, then I ape lagi, main campak-campak je.. Lawak gila, berterabur dan bersepah la dapur tu aku buat. Hahahhaa.

There you the cake that is ready to eat!!. Comotkan, ok lah tu, dah pukul 2 pagi kot weh!!!! Ko hado?? 

I really love the color. Seriously.

Then, bila cut the cake,,, oh my!!!! Startruck dengan color die. Risau jugak kot-kot bile potong tak jadikan. Alhamdulillah, jadi plus the most important thing SEDAP ok. Kembang I bile my friends PUJI.. Hahahahaha

Plan to bake it again on Aidiladha. Mak requested it.

Hemi Wedding

Back to back entry I guest today, hehee,,, while i have some time at the office. Last week also, my schoolmate had her wedding, i went there late because i have to attend Kak Dayah wedding first. Hemi was so beautiful with her off white dress. Congratulation Hemi and Hafiz and hope your marriage will lat forever till Jannah. By the way, i love her goodies, cute!! Ya, there are some pictures!
